About Us
What We Do
Delarber Construction has completed over $10 million in new construction and remodel projects since forming in 2006. We promise to continue to be professional and respectful at all times, up front when dealing with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and most importantly we will answer the phone when you call or return a call the same day. Delarber Construction is not concerned with the number of projects completed in a year, only with the quality of the projects and satisfaction of the property owner. We give thorough and timely estimates so the property owner can see where the money is being spent, which helps find areas for cost savings if necessary. We are happy to talk to owners about any type of project including new construction, remodels and additions, deck or dock work.
Owner Biography
Matt and his wife, Jennifer, were married in September, 2000 on the beach at Bob Sikes Cut on St. George Island. They have a daughter, Logan, and a son, Matthew, and are a house divided as Matt is a Georgia Bulldog and Jennifer is a Florida Gator.
They have been active members of Thomasville First United Methodist Church since 2004.
Family and many of their friends have homes on SGI and the Delarbers will retire there one day.
Matt has been a Georgia residential contractor since 2006 and received his Florida residential license in April 2021. Before that, he rented and sold equipment to the construction industry for 15 years in Georgia and Florida.
Community Involvement
Being an active member of the community has been important since the company was created in 2006.
-Mr. Delarber has been a mentor and volunteer for over 10 years at the Vashti Center, which is a support center for families and children.
-He also served on the local Historic Preservation Commission of Thomasville for 7 years and was the president for 2 years.
-He is involved with the Thomasville High School football and baseball booster programs. He has been the president of the football booster program for 5 years and became the baseball booster program president in January 2021.
