I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Delarber for many years and have enlisted his services for numerous projects at our house. There is literally no aspect of our home that he has not touched. As of now, he has remodeled our 4 bathrooms, completely reconfigured and remodeled our kitchen and laundry room, constructed my 800 square foot workshop, painted and rehabbed our entire house, and addressed other projects large and small to name a few. Matt built us an over-sized two car garage with extra storage space, a
workshop room and a ton of attic storage space. The finished product was better than we could have imagined and we even had people stop to take pictures or inquire about who built the garage. An active member of Thomasville First United Methodist Church, Matt Delarber has a heart for missions. For over a decade, he has volunteered at the Vashti Center, a mission of the United Methodist Women dedicated to serving the mental health and spiritual needs of disadvantaged youth in Georgia’s foster care system. His volunteer roles include mission advocate, youth mentor, bible studies teacher, and founding co-chair of Vashti Center’s annual community fundraising event, Dinner on the Bricks.

Matt has served as President of the Thomasville TD Club here at Thomasville High School in south Georgia since 2016. By volunteering an innumerable amount of hours with a bulldog work ethic, he leads a group of other adults who serve over 300 athletes by supplementing what the school can provide through finances, nutrition, athletic gear, equipment, and facility upgrades. Matt chooses to serve in this role for no reason other than the love he has for our athletes, our program, and our entire system! He will never totally understand the value and improvements he has helped bring to Thomasville, and how much he is appreciated by those he serves.
